Transcend's Slim Portable DVD Writer can be used right out of the box, requiring no driver or external power. It supports data transmission on dual layer discs, reading and writing data at up to 8x DVD±R and up to 24x CD-R/RW read/write speeds for optimum efficiency.
The Slim Portable DVD Writer is compatible with the latest Mac and Windows operating systems. Supporting USB 2.0 and later standards and popular CD/DVD media formats, the DVD Writer is broadly compatible.
The DVD writer comes in an ultra-slim, sleek design at just 13.9 mm thick with rounded edges, ideal for on-the-go entertainment, software installation, and file backups.
The DVD writer comes with the free-to-download CyberLink Media Suite 10 media writing software, allowing you to easily burn media to DVDs.
